In-Person Consultations And Treatments

As regulated health professionals, we are permitted to offer our full range of service in strict compliance with the appropriate COVID guidance from the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario, and with our respected regulated health professionals’ College.

As regulated health professionals, we are permitted to offer our full range of service in strict compliance with the appropriate COVID guidance from the Ministry of Health and Public Health Ontario, and with our respected regulated health professionals’ College.

  • Please only attend your session if you are well and have not been told to self-isolate.
  • If you are unwell please do not attend your appointment. Contact your physician to determine if a COVID test is required.
  • If you test negative we ask you not to attend your appointment until you are 24-hour symptom free.
  • Arrive just before your appointment time (we have no waiting area available).
  • Please come alone to your appointment, a parent or guardian can accompany a minor.
  • Please have your mask (cloth or surgical type) on BEFORE entering the clinic. Remember the mask must cover your nose, mouth and chin. You must wear your mask throughout your whole appointment.
  • Once you enter sanitize your hands and then complete our consent and COVID screen.
  • Maintain a minimum of 2 metres distance from other patients and staff.
  • We prefer you use a contactless method of payment such as a debit or credit card.

COVID precautions you might see at your appointment

We are working hard behind the scenes to make your visit to us as safe as possible. These include:

  • Plexiglass screens in reception
  • Hand sanitizer at the doors of our clinic, in all treatment rooms and throughout the gym – please use it!
  • Sanitization of all treatment rooms and equipment in between patients
  • Our team wearing PPE including masks or face shields, a gown and gloves where required
  • Use of medical grade surface cleaners and disinfectants for treatment rooms and high touch areas
  • Daily COVID screening of staff

Virtual Consultations

We offer in-person appointments for all our therapies, plus the option for a “virtual” physiotherapy appointment to minimize contact between you and our staff if this is a more appropriate option for you or if you are self-isolating. Please contact us for more information on in-person and online physiotherapy appointments.

Feeling ill? Stay home!

Please do NOT attend your appointment if you have:

  • Travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days,
  • Tested positive for COVID-19
  • Been told to self-isolate
  • Had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 without wearing appropriate PPE

Any of the following symptoms of COVID-19:

  • A fever
  • New onset of cough
  • Worsening chronic cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Sore throat
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Loss of sense of taste or smell
  • Headache
  • Chills
  • Unexplained fatigue/malaise/muscle aches (myalgias)
  • Nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain
  • Pink eye (conjunctivitis)
  • Runny nose or nasal congestion without other known cause

In addition, do NOT attend If you are 70 years of age or older, and experiencing any of the following symptoms:

  • Delirium
  • Unexplained or increased number of falls
  • Acute functional decline
  • Worsening of chronic conditions
